Ok last week we shared with you how to make your own Cleaning Wipes at home, this week we are going to be making Baby Wipes I got the idea for Baby Wipes HERE. The steps are pretty much like making the cleaning wipes and just as easy…So let’s get started:
Items you will need to make the wipes are:
- Paper Towel (I recommend Brawny, Scotts Natural or Viva Paper Towel),
- 1 Tbs of your favorite Baby Oil
- 2 Tbs of your favorite Baby Bath
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- Tall container with a lid
- Optional 3 drops of Tea Tree Oil
Step 1: Cut your roll of paper towel in half making 2 rolls.
Step 2: Place 1 half roll in your container and remove the tube.
Step 3: add 1 tbs of baby oil to the 1 1/2 cup of water
Step 4: Add 2 tbs of baby wash
Step 5: Stir the mixture until mixed well
Step 6: Pour the mixture over the paper towel making sure you get it good and soaked, let sit for at least 15 mins before using.
Step 7: Pull wipes from the inside and use as you would any other wipe =0)
Step 8: Put the lid on and label
If you want to go the extra mile you can tear off each sheet and put them in an empty baby wipes container ( I do this for the ones I keep in the van) . 1 Roll usually fills 2 containers.
**I keep a container of these in my home as well as in the van. I love this idea!!!
My total cost to make 6 containers of wipes:
Brawny (3 pk) Paper Towel: – Price 3.72
Baby Bath: $1.00
Baby Oil: $1.00
Final Price: $5.72 ($.95 each =0)

I think this is a good idea, but I have a question. Do they work like store wipes, or do you have to rinse after using them on a baby? I think a bottle of wash and oil would make a lot of containers of wipes, too, which would help save money.
They work just as good if not better than the store wipes I think.
