Thrift Tip Thursday: Child’s Place mat

This week’s Thrift Tip is more of a Do It Yourselfer than a thrift tip unless you already have these items on hand. A Child’s Place Mat is super easy to make, I found this great idea HERE! The only items you will need are:

  • A laminating machine,
  • 8×10 laminating sheets
  • Your favorite comic from the Sunday paper or children’s book

The instructions are pretty self explanatory but they are as follows:

  • Cut out your favorite comic or story book pages
  • Place them in the laminating sheet
  •  Send it through your laminating machine

It’s that simple!! There you have your very own child’s place mat. My grandson has falling head over hills in love with these and I will be making a lot more for him (It also keeps him in his seat while eating =0)
